Our particularly specialized Agent, who possesses unique knowledge in Technical Surveillance Counter Measures (TSCM), has been involved in the design of overseas audio surveillance equipment for Australian conditions. He has also written courses in Technical Surveillance Counter Measures, and covert entry techniques, which he has frequently presented at various learning centers. Our Agent is one of the few persons who understands the electronics of audio surveillance devices and the necessary covert entry techniques required to place them.
Should you require a sweep please acknowledge the following TSCM personnel requirements;
• Please don’t enquire about having a sweep done from a phone or environment that you suspect may contain a bug. Make the call away from the relevant premises.
• Tell only people who need to know that you are having a sweep.
• Sweeps should be conducted outside of business hours, except in the case of a boardroom, which should be swept prior to important meetings. A TSCM sweep is a serious matter and general staff inevitably fail to see the gravity of the situation. Also, if the spy is an employee, that person is likely to remove the device if they are present.
• The TSCM personnel need to have key or proximity card access to all target areas including all electrical cupboards and phone cupboards. You should ensure that you have all the keys to these areas.
